A UNITED STATES MODEL 1917 SWORD BAYONET BY WINCHESTER, circa 1917/18, with 16 3/4 in. single-edged steel blade fullered to each side, ricasso with circled 'W' stamped under 1917, with 'US', 'flaming bomb' and eagle's head motifs over, steel hilt with wooden grips, together with its brown leather scabbard and integral frog with steel fittings, scabbard marked 'JEWELL-1918', frog missing hilt loop, 23 in. overall
